Crescent Hotel [by sbs277]

Maryland:: Crescent Hotel
I took this picture during a Ghost Tour at the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. As we toured, I randomly shot frames. The photo before and after were also on this staircase area and they showed nothing. Can you see the image of a man on the wall, in addition to the energy vortex on the right?
<img src='http://www.hauntedsights.com/imgps/evidence/crescentorig.jpg' border='0' alt='' onload="JavaScript:if(this.width>450) this.width=450" />

Haunted sights

Montchanin - Strand Millas [by Admin]

New Castle County:: Montchanin - Strand Millas
The house on this property was built sometime around the late 1600's by John Gregg and is listed on the National Historic Register. The Gregg family were Quakers and the house is reportedly haunted by a Quakerly ghost, though I have only ever seen one reference to this ghost. I believe I have located the house and will be visiting the area in the near future.

Much of the original property owned by the Gregg family is now owned by Dupont, so perhaps the ghost is protesting the use of his land being used at one time to produce things like gunpowder. My interest in the property is actually not because of any haunting, but rather because it was first owned by my direct ancestors.

Pennsbury township - Cossart Road [by Admin]

Chester County:: Pennsbury township - Cossart Road
This road, running between Routes 100 and 52 south of Chadds Ford has been the site of numerous legends over the years, the more recent ones spurred on by the fact that three victims of the Johnston gang were found buried on one of the properties along the road. It was also the site of the movie "The Village".

Along the road itself are trees that bend away from the house and on e in particular that has a large opening at the base that is shaped like a skull (though it's been filled in with cement in recent years.). Supposedly the property belonged to the duPont family and some of the stranger activities there are said to be due to overly close breeding of some of the family. The owner of the property prior to the current one is said to have a duPont descendant and it is entirely possible that there were other duPont owners before here as much of the land in the area was owned by duPont family members.

Grings Mill - Bissinger Family [by Admin]

Berks County:: Grings Mill - Bissinger Family

The Tragedy by the Canal listing in our Articles section tells about this story, but I have some additional info to add to the story. The Bissinger family lived by the Tuplehocken Creek and Mrs. Bissinger worked as a maid at the main house at Grings Mill. Apparently, her ghost also appears at the old Main House there.
